- Successfully trained and collaborated with thousands of individuals in both construction and general industry environments;
- Excellent technical expertise including experience developing and implementing: corporate health and safety programs, site specific programs, lockout tagout procedures/programs, risk assessments, silica & lead exposure control plans, PPE assessments, customized audit/checklist development, industrial hygiene plans and more;
- One active BCSP Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and access to a deep network of colleagues and connections;
- Training instructor qualifications through the National Safety Council and OSHA Outreach Training Center(s).

A Message from the Founder
My name is Kevin Labas, CSP, founder and president of The Safety Collective. I have been in the occupational health and safety field for over a decade with a degree in Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University. In this time I have developed and maintained successful client relationships throughout upstate New York and beyond. I take pride in the improved safety performance we have been able to achieve together.
I have a passion for what we do at The Safety Collective, because I love working with a wide variety of people. This includes business owners, managers, supervisors, foreman and employees. I love helping my clients realize that an effective safety program will directly impact the bottom line.
I believe that the safety consulting business affords anyone who is willing, the opportunity to be challenged and rewarded. I look forward to working with you!
